Gargmel Falls in Love with the Smurfs

In the deep, silent night, a gentle breeze swept through the ancient, quiet forest, causing the branches to sway. Under the night sky, the old castle appeared mysterious and eerie, sending chills down one’s spine.

Occasionally, a few crows flew across the sky, letting out hoarse and chilling cries.

The camera zooms in...

Closer, even closer...

Finally, it focuses on a giant floor-to-ceiling window. Inside the transparent glass, a crystal ball emitted a faint purple glow, as if foreshadowing something about to happen.

Through the pouring moonlight, the camera reveals a face covered in wrinkles, weathered by time. The smile on the face was as mysterious and unsettling as the eerie, silent castle itself, bewitching all who saw it.

In front of the old man, the crystal ball began to glow faintly...

A pair of dry, wrinkled hands occasionally stroked the crystal ball, and in an unintentional moment, the old man let out a chilling laugh.

The golden cobra coiled around the old man’s arm seemed to sense its master’s good mood, occasionally flicking its tongue and slowly moving closer to the crystal ball.

The old man reached out and gently stroked the cobra's head. Just then...

*Creak...* The heavy door behind him was pushed open.

"After all these years, our efforts to find 'The Prayer' have finally paid off!" An elderly voice, filled with excitement, sounded from behind the mysterious old man.

"Indeed! It has been missing for 14 years, and now it has finally resurfaced."

The old man turned around, his previous smile gone.

"For years, people have speculated about the painting’s whereabouts. Some say it was stolen by a master thief, some believe it was destroyed, and others claim the painting never existed in the first place. But now, it's being exhibited in the Mi Gallery. What worries me is, we have a lead on the painting, but... the Smurfs..." The speaker hesitated.

"They won't be an issue..." The old man pressed his lips slightly, seemingly unconcerned with the other’s worries. His expression remained calm and composed. His eyes narrowed, and at that moment, the faintly glowing crystal ball began to mysteriously reveal a scene within.

It was a beige Ferris wheel, standing still amidst massive clouds, like a magnificent watercolor painting. Beneath the Ferris wheel stood a young girl, quietly clasping her hands together, as if... praying for a miracle to happen.

"Tomorrow, inform Gege that this mission will be hers to carry out," the old man spoke again, his voice now tinged with a hint of amusement.

"Gege? But she's only 17!" The person behind him exclaimed in shock.

"As long as she takes the lead, we’re bound to win! Ahahaha..."

The old man's eerie laughter echoed throughout the entire castle... the entire forest... the entire night sky...
