Chu Bingwen had high cheekbones, a straight nose, and thick but not dense eyebrows, giving him a certain refined look. His lips were thin, slightly pale, yet somehow, due to the harmony of his bone structure, they didn’t appear bland. There was a hint of a smile in his expression, but even if it was mocking, it still carried an undeniable charm.
As Lu Jiayi once said, "His nose is perfectly a nose, his eyes are eyes."
Even with the concealment of the rimless glasses, his expression still looked dangerous. No one would dare offend him, especially not the easily intimidated middle school students.
Lisa wasn't too worried about class discipline. No matter how rowdy the students got, Chu Bingwen could probably keep them in check. Unlike the intern teacher last semester, who left her in charge of discipline for a whole half month, something that still gave her headaches when she thought about it.
"What's your name?" Chu Bingwen asked.
"Lisa." Lisa dared not meet Chu Bingwen’s gaze directly; her eyes looked to the side, her voice weak and barely audible.
Chu Bingwen checked the class roster, found Lisa's name, and pointed to it with his finger. "Lisa, you're still the class monitor this semester. I hope you won't disappoint the trust your teachers have placed in you."
Chu Bingwen maintained a composed distance, neither warm nor cold. Although he wasn’t intentionally making things difficult for her, his tone was filled with a lack of trust.
After letting Lisa sit down, he went on to appoint the various subject representatives and committee members.
Lisa was busy writing down who was who, her eyes focused on the blackboard. But her mind, against her will, kept drifting back to Chu Bingwen.
He was wearing a shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms, revealing a section of his wrist. From the back, the shirt seemed a bit tight, even faintly showing trained muscles underneath.
This teacher sure looks like he goes to the gym often.
Lisa lightly wetted her lips with her tongue. In the noisy classroom, no one noticed this subtle movement.
She felt annoyed—very annoyed. It was as if Chu Bingwen was always looking down on her from above, indifferent and disdainful, even unwilling to mock her directly.
Teenage girls are often inexplicably stubborn about such things. Chu Bingwen was her type, yet she couldn't stand him.
A dangerous thought flashed through Lisa's mind, an instant as if the universe had exploded into existence from nothingness, scattering countless particles that formed an infinite presence.
